Maria A. Diaz
Founder and Owner of World Travel Service
Mrs. Diaz emigrated to the United States from Cuba in the 1960s when she was 19 years old, and has helped licensed individuals and groups travel to Cuba for more than three decades as an OFAC licensed Travel Service Provider (TSP). Most of the passengers on the first US authorized flight to Cuba in February 1979 were her clients, and she’s had the pleasure of assisting many other Licensed Americans and Cuban Americans with their travel to Cuba ever since, whether visiting family or for other permitted purposes. Mrs. Diaz has also assisted Cuban Americans in coordinating travel arrangements for their Cuban relatives to visit the United States.
